Why I Am a Denver Broncos Fan

I was 9 years old when the Denver Broncos played the Dallas Cowboys in Superbowl XII, January 15, 1978.  My dad wasn't a huge football fan, but he enjoyed watching a game now and then and we always watched the Super Bowl.  My dad made a bet with me that his team would win.  The funny thing about this, is my Dad really didn't have a team.  He let me choose first who I thought would win and he took the other one.  I chose the Denver Broncos.  The prize for winning was a silver dollar.  

I really wanted to win that dollar, however Dallas had other plans and they beat the Broncos 27-10. My Dad gave me the silver dollar anyway.  I still have that silver dollar and have been a Broncos fan ever since.
